How Do You Provide Training to Your Employees?

PMI offers customized industry specific training programs designed specifically to meet your company’s needs. With a wide variety of industrial equipment and labs, we are able to offer hands-on industry training that is field specific.  Classes will upgrade the skills and abilities of your employees and help close technical skills gap in your organization by investing in your employees and can assist to increase employee retention.

We can assist in keeping your employees current in your specific training needs.  PMI can also develop and design customized single or multiple training sessions utilizing our instructional expertise.  Classes can be conducted in private sessions at your business or you can send individuals to public sessions held at PMI taught by professional instructors with years of industry experience.

Below are our current classes offered to companies for Industry Training purposes. These are not individual training courses for students looking to enroll.

Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) – 48 hours

Classes Run: September 24th through November 14th

Tuesdays & Thursdays from 4 pm to 7 pm

Course Description: This course will enable the student to realize the importance of GD&T and the limitations of coordinate tolerances. The student will learn the importance of the part’s function and its feature relationships and then through logical sequential steps move from conventional dimensioning to geometric dimensioning.  The student will gain knowledge on the fundamentals of GD&T in design through manufacturing.  The GD&T language indicates the acceptable standardized methods for applying dimensions and tolerances through a language of letters, numbers and symbols.

CAM 121: MasterCAM Mill 2019 – 48 hours 

Classes Run: September 30th – November 20th

Mondays & Wednesdays from 5pm to 8 pm

Course Description:  This course will teach students to utilize MasterCAM Software to draw and import part geometry to create a 2.5D CNC Mill program to manufacture part to print tolerances.
