PMI is inviting you to attend an Open House on Saturday, May 2, 2020 from 9:30 am – 12:00 pm. Faculty and staff members will be available throughout the day to answer questions.
Learn About the Following Programs During our Open House:
A CNC Machinist sets up and operates a variety of computer controlled and mechanically controlled machines to produce precision metal parts, instruments, and tools. Those who attend the open house will have the opportunity to learn about manual mills and lathes and CNC (Computer Numeric Controlled) mills and lathes.
Electric Arc Welding:
A welder is someone who uses hand-held or remotely controlled equipment to join or cut metal parts. They also fill holes, indentations, or seams in metal projects. During the open house you will have the opportunity to strike an arc in a welding booth.
Electro-Mechanical Technology combines knowledge of mechanical technology with knowledge of electrical and electronic circuits. They operate, test, and maintain unmanned automated robotic or electro-mechanical equipment. During the open house you will have the opportunity to run a robotic arm.
